Excellent quality dark blue lapis lazuli ovals, dusted with silvery pyrite.
A large Bali Sterling bead and clasp and smaller Sterling
hand made knobby spacer beads.
The bracelet is 7 1/2 inches long.
Lapis has been used since at least the ancient Egyptian
and Mesopotamian
cultures. It is said to open the third eye and assist meditation. On
the physical level lapis is said to alleviate irritation, anxiety and
fatigue. It is mined in
Afghanistan, Russia, Siberia and the Andes.
Bali Sterling silver is handcrafted by silversmiths in Indonesia and is
usually
very detailed and intricate.
