Charoite Bracelet with Bali silver
Faceted deep red ruby quartz, a large faceted charoite rectangle bead,
round amethyst beads, Bali Sterling beads and an ornate heavy Bali
Sterling
clasp that is a work of art in itself!
I'm not sure of the origin of this ruby
quartz. It's a beautiful color, and when it's held to the light it has
wonderful
crinkly patterns.
Charoite is found only in the Charo
River Valley in Yakutst, part of
Siberian Russia. It's structure is so
complex that scientists don't know
how it is formed.
Amethyst is the
most prized form of quartz, a form of chalcedony. It has
been long said to
have a sobering and calming effect and encourages gentleness and a good
nature.
The bracelet is 7 1/2 inches long.

Bali Sterling silver is handcrafted by silversmiths in Indonesia and is
usually
very detailed and intricate.
