Handmade Amethyst Earrings
Dark purple amethyst faceted beads with flowered Thai Hill Tribe silver
bead caps dangle from long Sterling silver ear wires.
Amethyst is considered to be the most valued form of quartz. It occurs
in a broad range of colors - from pink to lilac to lavender to dark
purple. The darkest amethyst is considered to be the most desirable and
valuable, Amethyst is said to have sobering and calming qualities. It
is mined in many locations around the world.
Thai Hill Tribe Silver has a very high silver content
(up to 99%)
and is handcrafted by silversmiths in the hills of Northern Thailand.
The
earrings are just over 1 1/4 inch long
from the top of the ear
wire.
