Fascinating earrings of intensely
blue Peruvian blue opals and
faceted amethyst round beads.
Opals give inspiration and creativity.
Blue Peruvian opals are considered
rare and found only in Peru. They
were used by the Incas in rituals
and in jewelry throughout antiquity.
They are blue to blue-green in color
and often have dark dendrite
markings (fern like inclusions).
Amethyst is said to have sobering
and calming qualities. It is considered
a major healing stone. It is mined in
many locations around the world.
Some of the best amethyst is found
in Africa and Brazil.
