I adore the way the light goes through
carnelians.
Faceted carnelian rounds, patterned
Sterling chain, sterling silver ear wires.
The earrings are 2 inches long from
the top of the ear wire.
Carnelian is a form of chalcedony
and is found in Mexico, Brazil,
Uruguay,
Africa and many other parts of the world.
India is considered the best source
for carnelians. Carnelians have been
collected for centuries. Several were
found in a pot dating to around 1800 BC.
All metal sterling silver.
