Handmade Charoite Earrings
Baubles of charoite with its crazy whimsical
patterns, small Sterling bead caps and ear
wires.
The earrings are 1 1/2 inch long from the top of
the ear wire. The charoite beads are just under
1/2 inch in diameter.

It's hard to describe charoite. The gemstone is rich with depth and is a mixture of light to dark
purple in swirling patterns. It is found only in
the Charo River Valley in Yakutsk, part of
Siberian Russia. Its structure is so complex that
scientists don't know how it is formed.
All metal Sterling silver.
