Handmade Fluorite Earrings.
Butterflies flit from flower to flower
in a garden of delicate green and purple
fluorite. Thai Hill Tribe silver butterfly
beads and small Thai silver beads.
Fluorite is a really interesting stone.
It is found in many colors, mostly
in shades of purple and green, but also
in yellow, blue, pink and black. As
you can see in these photos, one
stone can contain various colors.
Fluorite is frequently fluorescent under
ultraviolet light.
Fluorite cleans the aura and assists
meditation. Green fluorite is very healing,
and purple fluorite helps open the third
eye and increases intuition.
Fluorite is a soft stone, 4 on
Mohs scale of hardness (a scale
of 1-10).
Length: 1.5 inches long from the top
if the ear wire. (The earrings are
considerably smaller than pictured.)
Thai Hill Tribe Silver has a very high
silver content
(97-99%)
and is
handcrafted by silversmiths in the
hills of Northern Thailand
using
traditional tribal methods passed
down from generation to
generation.
Even the tools used to make the
silver are handmade. The higher
silver content makes the silver
more malleable and easier to
work with. It also makes it
more resistant to tarnishing.
