Handmade Blue Opal Earrings
Faceted Peruvian blue opals, intensely
blue, with freshwater pearls.
Opals give inspiration and creativity.
Blue Peruvian opals are considered
rare and found only in Peru. They
were used by the Incas in rituals
and in jewelry throughout antiquity.
They are blue to blue-green in color
and often have dark dendrite
markings (fern like inclusions).
Pearls symbolize innocence and a
pure heart. They
stimulate femininity,
self acceptance and integrity,
and help
develop wisdom. Freshwater pearls
are cultured in various breeds of mussels.
