Handmade Lapis Necklace.
Slivers of lapis drape like fringe from a necklace of flower sugilite
rondelles
and lapis twist beads. Thai Hill Tribe silver saucer beads, ornate Bali
silver toggle
clasp.
A truly unique necklace!
The necklace is 17 inches long. The longest pendant bead is 1 and 3/4
inches.
Lapis has traditionally been used by royalty and is said to strengthen
intuition, spiritual growth, inner power and self confidence. It also
quiets
the mind.
Flower sugilite is not a true sugilite but is more closely related to
lepidolite.
Lepidolite has a strong
relaxing and calming effect. It brings hope and is a stone of
transformation.
Bali silver is handcrafted by silversmiths in Indonesia and is usually
very detailed and intricate. The silver content is the same as Sterling
(92.5%) or higher.
Thai Hill Tribe Silver has a very high silver content
(97-99%)
and is
handcrafted by silversmiths in the hills of Northern Thailand using
traditional tribal methods passed down from generation to generation.
