Fox Turquoise Pendant Necklace (RARE)
A rare Fox turquoise pendant with a carnelian bead dangle from a fine
Sterling silver chain.
Turquoise is considered the master healing stone. There are references
to its use through antiquity in cultures as diverse as Egypt, Tibet,
and the Native Americans. It is indeed a very special stone.
Although Fox turquoise is rather difficult to find, a small amount of
it is mined once in a while. The old Fox mine is in Northern Nevada.
Fox turquoise is considered to be collectable.
The necklace is 20 inches long and can be shortened to any desired
length. The turquoise is 3/4 inch long and
about 1/2 inch wide. The pendant drops about
1 1/4 inch from the chain.
