Handmade ocean jasper
pendant necklace
Pendant charms of wonderfully patterned ocean
jasper, rainforest jasper, carnelian and a Thai
Hill Tribe silver "Om" charm dangle from twisted
Sterling rings and are suspended from
a Sterling silver chain. Faceted picture
jasper beads are at the clasp.
The ocean jasper pendant is 1 1/8 inch long and
drops 1 5/8 inch below the chain.
The necklace is 19 1/2 inches long.
Ocean jasper is found in only one place in the
world, in Madagascar on the Ambolobozo Peninsula.
This area can only be reached by boat and the
ocean jasper can be removed only at low tide.
Ocean jasper is said to be soothing, and to bring
love of self and others.
Rainforest jasper connects one with nature and
brings the awareness that we are not separate from
the animals, plants, etc on planet Earth. It is
mined in Australia and perhaps other parts of the
world.
Carnelian is a form of chalcedony and is found in
Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay, Africa and many other
parts of the world.
Carnelian is a Power Stone, a stone of ambition
and drive. It stimulates analytical capability and
protects from negative emotions.
"Om" is the symbol for unity, or the oneness of
all creation.
