If you're like me, jewelry can be very sentimental. Jewelry is also very personal, which is what makes it so special. I have posted pictures (above) of a few heart and flower jewelry ideas, but really, a Valentine gift doesn't have to be a heart, it can be anything that you love or that is loved by the one you love.

Jewelry makes memories. It will be here decades after the candy has been eaten and the flowers are wilted. More than that, handmade jewelry is so very special because it is made with so much love and care.

When I make jewelry I try to picture the person who will buy it and the one who will wear it. I make jewelry with my heart, to make it beautiful and special, and with my hands to make it well made and durable. I hope it is worn often and for a long time.
