Ducks with "dos" in Sonoma Plaza

The people of Sonoma love the ducks at the duck pond in Sonoma Plaza, but to the extent of giving them crazy hairdos? What kind of duck is this anyway? These pictures were taken during the Harvest Festival yesterday. Maybe the ducks were dressing up?I'm no duck expert, but I've seen a lot of ducks. I googled "unusual looking duck breeds" and found various crested ducks. I guess these are hybrids. Cute!
