Sonoma Plaza - Sebastiani Theater

The Sebastiani Theater at Sonoma Plaza is one of the many cool things to check out in Sonoma. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the theater, which first opened it's doors in April, 1934. The theater was built by August Sebastiani, Italian immigrant and member of the Sebastiani wine making family.It's a really grand old theater, I don't know if I've ever seen another theater quite like it. It's not super fancy, just old timey, with neat touches here and there that give me a good feeling.The Sebastiani Theater is one of the main venues of the Sonoma Film Festival.The theater is home to an eclectic mix of live music. first run movies, performing arts and other community events.
