Handmade chalcedony and pearl necklace.

A cluster of aqua chalcedony briolettes nestles on a strand of pearls and many other semi-precious gems in this uniquely beautiful necklace. 

White freshwater pearls in sizes tiny to huge, dark blue peacock freshwater pearls, oval faceted lavender ametrine beads, prehnite faceted barrels, blue chalcedony and quartz rondelles, tiny aquamarine beads interspaced between pearls, bead caps made of fine Thai silver, ornate handmade sterling silver toggle clasp.

I originally made this necklace many years ago and never posted it because I didn't feel that some of the gemstones were worthy. I remade it, replacing the chaldedony briolettes and adding things here and there. It's one of my favorite pieces. I love the lightness and soothing nature of the chalcedony briolettes, the softness of the pearls, the daintyness of the little aquamarine beads. The beauty of the hand made sterling clasp is amazing. I put my heart and soul into this one. I do all of them, but this one dazzels me. How can anything be so soft yet so dazzling?

The necklace is just over 18 inches long.
