Celebrate the bees!

One of the new items on my website is a bracelet that is a celebration of bees. Those busy flying beings who gather pollen from flowers and make it into honey and keep plant life going on our planet. Bees are tiny unacknowledged heros who are endangered due to pesticides and other environmental threats. As pollinators their demise is our demise.

We're fortunate to have many flowering plants in our yard that attract bees in all seasons except winter. The biggest attraction is our huge pepper tree. The tree hums with buzzing bees from dawn until around mid afternoon every day for about 6 weeks in June and July.
